TLDR: We stand stronger together in assessing vertical and horizontal decision making scales and impacts!
4/4 Main challenge identified: balancing model flexibility with interpretability without imposing transformation pathways. Still very much an open problem needing systematic approaches!
3/4 Key outcome: we developed a working definition of deep structural change as "ontological reconfiguration" - emergence, disappearance, or transformation of entities, relationships, and structures that requires revising the model ontology itself.
2/4 We combined a pre-survey (N=20) with collaborative Miro board discussions to understand how the community approaches transformations that reshape system foundations - new tech, institutional shifts, evolving social categories.
