Discovered today a Vertex Crease in subdiv mode... After modeling for over 6 years in Blender. Helps a lot with handling difficult shapes.

Texturing in Blender isn't bad actually. It's just different.

Here I used Normals Falloff masking to paint only on perpendicular surfaces. Could also bake something similar with many point lights, but I enjoy freedom of brushwork I get this way.
