First time in like a year that I will be doing 2 DJ sets in one week!

Tonight 9pm CEST I'll be playing my usual stuff at ScopeCreepClub.

Saturday morning 8am CEST I'll be doing an experimental closing set for Byte.Cats. I'll keep it a bit of a secret what I will be playing, but it'll be fast 👀

I wished there were just a few groups that were more focusing on 2-3 hour sets. I'm also really interested in what some DJs in the scene can do with a longer playing time that can give them more space to mess around in their sets.

Asti rant time:
There is one thing in VR DJ'ing that I really don't like, and that is the standardisation of 1 hour sets.

I understand that groups wanna have as many DJs as possible on their events, but for some music styles its horrible on terms of storytelling and progression.

Sadly not that active DJ'ing in VR lately, with my new job I have less time, especially to prepare DJ sets.

This saturday however I will do a set for Velvet again, so that'll be fun!!

Not gonna throw names here, but there is this dj that did quite fucked up things like saying very racist stuff, saying sexually inappropriate things towards people without consent and various other stuff all with proof and still having a big platform in the vrchat scene.

My question is... how?

Honestly only gaining 0,5kg in muscle mass in 2,5 months in the gym kinda feels... disappointing? Despite having the idea that I work out more intensively, have gone up in weights for every exercise and eating lots of protein.
Have gained 1,5kg in fat which is good, since I'm still underweight 🫡

Sometimes I find one of these very old tracks from the 90s or early 2000s and am like "this is so fucking beautiful, I need to play this" because of its nostalgic sound.

Then I'm hooked on this track for a couple of weeks, till I find the next old track to get addicted to 🫡
