Also, because of we usually only use "他" to refer ppl and whatever the gender is, it all pronounced "ta", some of my friends would messed the pronouns up in eng.

Rambling again.

Fun fact: originally, we didn't have the word "她 (ta) she/her" in Mandarin, we used to only have "他 (ta) gender neutral third-person pronoun", until someone trying to translate western language to Mandarin. Lol.

we still use 他 as gender neutral pronoun, btw.
