As far as the plot goes, it's fine. It's nothing groundbreaking and I wish there was more connection to Tron: Legacy, but it still works overall. The visual effects are top-notch, so thankfully they didn't skimp out there and there's no weird uncanny valley stuff. If you like Tron, you'll like this.

Speaking of the soundtrack, we saw it in Regal RPX and the soundtrack is mixed VERY loud, to the point where my dad said "this movie is very noisy." Daft Punk's score is still a masterpiece, but NIN fits this movie's themes very well and is still a great listen. #musicsky #NIN #nineinchnails #tron

My dad and I saw Tron: Ares on my birthday last Friday. It was a lot better than I expected, especially since Jared Leto wasn't as obnoxious as he tends to be. Greta Lee is great, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson were severely underused, but the NIN soundtrack is awesome. #filmsky #movies #tron
