Nearly drilled into the metal framing under the plaster.

It’s getting colder and there is a vague hope that hanging curtains across the bifolds will stop the cat from screaming to go outside when we’re in the kitchen.

That being said, all attempts this evening are making it feel hella cursed.

Today alone we’ve had:
- Was told their pension contribution wasn’t enough to retire early.
- The house she loved didn’t qualify for her ISA plan.
- The clinic called and the cooties are permanent.

Been seeing a surprising amount of kids on this holiday, though to be fair a lot are toddlers so wouldn’t be in school anyway. We’ve made a bit of a game coming up with boring adult reasons why any of them burst into tears.
