💨🌎Air pollution is not just from the #oilindustry and #gasindustry though, and air pollution from 🔥 #wildfires is estimated to result in more than 50,000 deaths per year by 2050.

It's not just oil and gas. Wildfire smoke is also causing adverse health effects. By 2050, researchers estimate 70,000 deaths per year from wildfire smoke

Why is wildfire smoke so bad? Fine particles (PM 2.5), smaller than a red blood cell, go deep into your lungs and bloodstream and can trigger heart and respiratory problems.

Communities across the U.S. are facing increased health risks, and even premature deaths, from worsening #airpollution.

Air pollution from oil and gas is estimated to cause more than 90,000 premature deaths in the US. The polluted air has higher levels of PM2.5 (fine particles), NO2 (Nitrogen Dioxide), and O3 (Ozone)

Each year, air pollution from oil and gas, is estimated to cause 1,610 cancer cases, 10,000 pre-term births, and 216,000 childhood asthma cases.
