Mark Zandi: A growing number of states are struggling, some already in recession, others right on the edge. Together, they account for nearly a third of U.S. GDP.

The national economy isn’t there yet, but it’s clearly losing steam.

I still think this is one of the most useless and self-centered clowns to ever get seated in the Senate. And think about what a high bar that is.
Even Texans don't like him. They know he's an asswipe but then re-elect him anyway because "at least he's OUR asswipe".
You know you're an incorrigible gadget head if your damn bed needs AWS

Both the U.S. marshal and the immigrant were shot by federal officers. You’d never know that from this headline.

ICE is stockpiling arms, including chemical weapons, guided missile warheads and explosive components. The spending dwarfs anything we've ever seen in the agency - a 700% increase.

The President is building an army to attack his own country.
Consider yourself "identified" you hoaxer
Of course he managed to lie in the first sentence. NYC isn't the city he has called home his entire life, he left Brazil because he was wanted for check fraud. What a jewel we have here.
No worries we're almost done trickling
Larry Ellison and Lachlan Murdoch would control all that's left of US cable TV. That's what that would look like. The billionaire takeover begins, as should have been expected, with gaining control over the means of propaganda.
I can't get past the paywall but I find this hard to believe. Rebuilding after disasters is a good thing but it's only "growth" if you don't count the disaster as loss. Sure, it is economic activity and jobs etc. But it also consumes capital that can now not be used elsewhere.
$3B isn't going to go very far. A drop in the bucket. We should have kept USAID. Not just would it have brought business to America's farmers. It would have saved countless lives in the process and earned us the lifelong admiration of those we would have helped.

An American teenager, Mohammad Ibrahim, has been in Israeli prison for *8 months.*

Israeli settlers killed his 20-year-old American cousin, Sayfollah Musallet, in June.

These are the conditions Mohammad is being held in, where he's lost dozens of pounds and got infected with scabies:

the chart of argentina's currency is so crazy its hard to believe that when trump took office the first time, the peso was near 15, now in his 2nd term, its near 1500 peso to the dollar. the current leader did this, but the finance world loves the 'libertarian' and #1 IMF debtor nation #econsky

The delinquency rate on subprime loans (loans to borrowers with below a 660 Vantage score) jumped to 8.3% in September. This is the highest delinquency rate in September since 2010 in the immediate wake of the Global Financial Crisis. #EconSky

We're now down to not seating elected members of the House to prevent the release of these files. Something pretty damning must be in there.

What does that mean? Oil demand isn't rising afaik
That's the trickle down economy. Crazy that we have let it go on for this long. But hey, people keep voting for the party that invented this concept so maybe they like it
Sounds a bit like there's a period of withdrawal symptoms after quitting cold turkey but then things improve. Interesting

🧑‍🌾 FARMER: "MAGA now means Make Argentina Great Again — as China buys soybeans from Argentina, the same country Trump sent ($40 BILLION)… A bailout is like putting a Band-Aid on a bullet wound. We don't want a bailout. We want markets for our crops."
