brainstorming alts and just realized. micaiah's outfit acutally has a lot of Thief-y elements? like comparing it to patty's and there's a massive amount of overlap. given her life on the streets, i really love that! ...makes planning a phantom thief alt for her harder.

there is something i really like about mcorrin's resp putting him in white and gold and corrin in mostly black, esp with how mcorrin is used as hoshirrin and fcorrin as nohrrin

got my next octopath edit, alfyn greengrass! ...so like. he's. the best party member, right? amputation + golden axe trivialize sthe early + midgame, and then concoct + dohter's gives you near permanent uptime on some amazing buffs. love him. new on left old on right.

ngl i think teh coolest thing octopath has done is like. bridge the issue ff never could figure out of balancing a flexible job system with individual character identity. having everyone dual wield jobs with one being Set is such a good idea

got my next octopath edit, primrose! her story's one of the best (along with olberic) but that's not a particularly new opinion. i will say i think dancer as base job is v weak in ch1 and then stupid broken for the entire rest of the game. anyways new on left old on right!

teeeensy bit more fatesposting. i think my issue with leo's speed is less anything with HIM and more that you only get two maps with him before Ninja Hell Map. 15 speed is kind of okay for ch14. on ch17? makes him ninja food.

takumi got a massive debuff going from fates to heroes and that's having his og va replaced :( i miss his and niles's og va so much, roger rose did such a good job

fatesposting. anyways i think draconic hex might be the most busted skill corrin gets? like yeah dragon fang is fun but draconic hex is just. free enfeeble. and nohrrin gets a 1-2 range attack option regardless. crazy good skill, ESP with fates slow wearing off debuffs.
