For those who don’t know me, I’m Zero. A wrestling fan who has a lot of crazy notes and opinions. I watch a lot of wrestling and I have a series on X called My Wrestling Match List. I watch matches that I find or people recommend and describe them. It can be long, but it’s fun.

Given how NJPW is able to run this year’s Super Jr. Tag League, AEW has no excuse to not do the same to crown inaugural champions. Or even do a simple single elimination tournament.

I maybe cynical in my approach, so it’s also on me. I will say that I don’t mind Konosuke Takeshita being champion. The only problem I have is that NJPW could have him win without a G1 win since he pinned him in the G1.

I know Takeshita is a New Japan talent. The point of it was a NJPW wrestler that is NOT Konosuke Takeshita. Any NJPW Wrestler that is not named Konosuke Takeshita who was already AEW International Champion before he signed for NJPW.
