The series aims to act as a forum for scholars working on the academic study of Shiʿi Islam to reflect on the state and fate of the field.

The aim of the workshop is think about interactions between Muslim groups in early Islam not in terms of polemics and acts of violence, but rather in terms of day-to-day interactions and the institutions and organisational structures which facilitated or restricted such interactions.
