On topic and summit that always stuck w me, first time in Berlin in 00s and a friend chatted to someone who's mother grew up in East and she never adjusted to the west, couldn't process / deal with the lack of order that was removed when communism fell.

I once saw a great doc on women's sex lives / sexual autonomy in East Germany. As you say not gonna start gunning for everything back when but it was a really fascinating reposte to the ideas of western sexual liberation.

Yup I very sporadically try TV now. I did 2 eps of the Ed Gein show and it was so bad + I couldn't imagine how there was still 6hrs of it left. Didnt make it to the end of 1st series of Last of Us due to repetition. Its all about the streaming minutes.

Daft. It's why I packed in Netflix. I was watching that doc series about the Pepsi can / win a plane story from the 80s and it was 4 eps long I think. It was at best a 90min story. Switched it off 2nd ep in and unsubscribed.

Saxondale is really hard to find iirc. Even dodgy streaming site I use had no sign of it last time i tried. Great show.
