I wanted to try making some door notice stickers, and the theme was "our little black cat as a guard dog" :D (Orange version for a wider audience). Are your pets as great at guarding your home as she is?

I think instead of screentime app, I need an app that asks me set a questions I've set up and only lets me open an app if I give the right answer.

So like if I choose it's for work, it would always let me in. But if I choose "I'm bored" it would give me suggestions to go through first.

I started this month by creating new art for the upcoming FunDesign Christmas market.

This is a piece I've partially flat colored like 1-2 years ago (I have no concept of time) and finally decided to finish. The kitties are based on our little Pippuri & Luka 🐈‍⬛ 🐈

My final upgrade was tossing that paper tablecloth and switching to a washable one. There's still a lot I want to change, but I'm quite happy with how far I've gone this summer.

I've had a lot of fun trying this new journey, and I will definitely keep applying to conventions next year too!

My very first artist alley was at Shumicon, where my setup was quite small. I learned a lot and did some major upgrades by changing my cubes and increasing height. After that, I got my new table runner (I'm quite happy with that design :3) and colored some cubes yellow.

I know visual impairment comes in a spectrum... So would adding alt text help someone enjoy a piece of art? Or is it just an informative tool? What kind of alt text would you want from a drawing?

How about comics? Should it just contain dialogue simplified or read like a creative writing piece?

I'm very uneducated on this front, and never seen this discussion before, so I got a couple questions about alt text issue as an artist.

I've been pretty ignorant about usin alt text... So for art, what should an alt text contain and how is it useful?

I wanna talk numbers later (in the end, did I make more than I spent?), but first I wanna talk about the feeling.

It's been such a journey! I started it feeling so insecure and nervous, but the isecurity has definitely nearly dissapeared. Nervous I will still be, maybe forever 🤣

Con season wrapped up for the time being. Doing my first artist alleys this summer has been incredible and an exhaisting experience. The feeling of hearing someone talk about my art so positively has been so wild and encouraging ❤️
