John Lyman was a 🐬🐬🐬showman at Miami Aquarium. He played a large part in my 10 y/o imagination with his beret, eyepatch, red striped shirt and storied yacht dockside, with a 100’ mahogany mast, red velvet seats, & shiny brass fittings. No Nazis allowed! Eventually a Jewish man sunk her. Hint hint.

My favorite movie of hers is Shoot the Moon, with Albert Finney, a realistic view of divorce and its ongoing aftermath Dana Hill was wonderful as her daughter, too. All her work is exceptional, but I like this slice of life film the best. Plus Finney still has his mop.

First attempt at a purple plum torte. Not as bad looking as I feared. Smells great with a bit of sugar, lemon and cinnamon on top. Will report back once it’s cooled down.
