I really wish this message was instilled in me. I got the complete opposite. I waste more resources and energy trying to earn the approval of people who ultimately have zero bearing on my life. People pleasing and self loathing are very hard spells to break.

One of my kid’s friends was involved in a car accident. Both her parents died, and she’s undergoing multiple surgeries for a spinal cord injury. I’ve just been beside myself all day. Hug the people you love and tell them you love them. You never know what can happen in an instant.

Airport: this dad has asked his toddler 3x whether they want a sandwich or a hot dog & they keep getting distracted & not answering & the last time he asked it sounded like he was going to start crying. His pregnant wife is so angry I’m afraid she’s going to crash the plane on purpose. Been there. 🥴

That’s insane. I had my first mammogram in my 30s, because my breasts are so cystic it’s hard to differentiate a lump, and I had a scare. I get one every year and a few times I’ve needed a biopsy and they increased the frequency to every six months for a couple of years to be safe.

Just drove over the spot where JFK was assassinated. It was quite chilling. My uber driver was very enthusiastic telling me about it and knew the precise spots of the first bullet and the second bullet that hit him. Starting to think he may have done it.
