The 30 anniversary was a couple of days ago.

Still.

When I watched the first episode off the probably hecto fansub, nobody could imagine this is where we would end up.
I've never been a Discord kind of guy. There is a Facebook group and several mailing lists - I can send you the links.
Only thing is, I mean, yeah, you're a damn good Japan guy, but you're just *a* Japan guy.

Could be THE Luxembourg guy!

Or I dunno, the Bulgaria guy or something!

You know, for years I've been wondering if we will ever get to this point, and now we just might - next big YA book series will immediately mean an anime adaptation?
I vaguely knew the song off someone quoting on Russian LiveJournal.

Started looking around, FIRST THING I SAW was the LoGH AMV.

This introduced me to the musician

Who I later saw live at a VERY skeevy Russian biker bar (Love 69) in the depths of Russian Brooklyn...

Also new and timely!

Access is often available through your local public library - but if it isn't, this is a great option!
Great news!

Legitimately useful!

Access to JSTOR is often available through your local public library, but if it isn't, this is great to know!

In the new AI imaginaries in Asia issue of the journal Asiascape: Digital Asia

"This article explores different approaches to AI in media such as Japanese animation, which is globally influential, though understudied in this context."

Suggestion, what in the episode is *supposed* to appeal to - anyone? Put yourself in the mind of who...somebody thinks must be the intended audience?
The Bloomsbury online access site doesn't have the full titles of the individual chapters.

See here instead.

And, pick your favorite.

"Demonic Compassion: The Suffering of Innocents in Puella Magi Madoka Magica" is pretty hard to top!

Don't remember *how* much farther I got, but I don't think it was too much farther than you.

Eventually, stopped buying Squaresoft games just bc they came from Squaresoft.

...this one was very much to blame!
Cute anime girls gacha game says it like it is!
