As much as it's for the sake of a niche project involving characters who have little to do with each other seemingly, the more I dig into them the more there's something juicy and resonant to extrapolate between Reze and Aki that just feels destined precisely because of their distinct polarity.

by the time the story began with Denji, hence Beam becoming a fiend and War and Pochita being in the states they were while the other horsemen sisters seem to have this disconnect with War in their philosophy regarding their identities and relationship with Pochita.

Even though Control was an adversary of Pochita and his followers during the horsemen war, I kinda wonder if pre-Makima Control orchestrated her sisters' downfall ending all of them except War who fled and Beam who's maybe the last surviving follower of that battle and they were all weakened or dead

Wonder if pre-hybrid Bomb was originally captured by the soviets when Pochita ate nuclear and part of War thereby weakening it.

Yoru complains about how this is why humans are pathetic but takes another mouthful anyways and keeps it in her mouth even as her eyes begin to water and Asa wants to tell her to stop because Yoru's making her look even more pathetic but she has to admit that resilience is kinda cool.

Asa being unable to eat spicy food and Yoru takes over her body to eat some buldak ramen because Asa can't bring herself to do it bc it would make her look stupid, she'll show her what the War Devil is all about but then starts huffing after a mouthful because of Asa's tastebuds, Asa calling her out

Nothing about this is new, but Makima's (and horsemen) eyes being spirally is so fitting when their abilities and concepts centre around submission, perception and agency, much like hypnosis.
