Does the same thing with personal relationships. Embarrass someone at the club to make them feel bad they aren’t one of the ‘cool kids’. Repairs the relationship so they are now part of the cool kids again, in which case they’ll eat his shit and pay extra $$$ just so they don’t lose status again.
