I'm not on a crusade to change the world. I'm just taking a stand over one tiny part of it. I haven't told anyone to stop using Omarchy. That's for individuals to decide.
As for other stands I may make, I'll deal with those as and when the need arises.

One either has principles, or one doesn't. I oppose everything that Tommy Robinson stands for, and to carry on using Omarchy after discovering that DHH openly supports him would have been completely hypocritical. I'm happy with my decision. The fact that you think it "stupid" doesn't enter into it.

I know pretty much nothing about the hyprland team, but I was using Omarchy, and liked it very much. But when I read DHH's blog post supporting far-right fuckwit, Tommy Robinson, I removed it from my PC that day. I can't use something created by someone who supports racists.

The youth club was a massive part of my life as a kid in the late 70s, early 80s. We played 5-a-side football. Snooker, pool, darts. Not to mention a disco every week. My youth club provided everything needed when myself & a handful of friends did a 48 snooker marathon to raise money for Band Aid.

A bit more information about Linux might have been helpful.
A huge, free resource that could save thousands of laptops from landfill and it got roughly the same mention as cleaning the keyboard.

The trick to getting good advice is don't ask a simple question that Google could give you in the first few answers.
When you do ask, show some effort to have tried to fix it yourself.

More importantly, don't insult the people you want help from.
