I knew. I was so lucky because I did. My family was all healthy and so was I. We had enough. The country seemed to be progressing - slowly, but progressing. And I knew it was a moment I'd someday look back on and miss with all my heart.
When she refused to answer, the Senator provided an answer for her - that she didn't know anything about it - instead of pointing out that she was refusing to answer the question. He could have made a real issue out of her refusal and he completely missed the chance.
