they're putting most of it underground to not mess with the sillhouette and also because they needed to put the old building on earthquake pilings, so they've dug a 23 meter pit into the bedrock on the front lawn it's one of the most impressive things I've ever seen.

Did you know Canada's seat of government is currently in the middle of a decade long renovation and expansion? they have a whole website about it how they've boxed up all the historical stonework and taking casts of all the plasterwork in case something gets broken.

Ithought the same thing. given where a lot of these games are coming from I wonder if there's an antecedent in the way anime and manga characters will sometimes react so strongly they become chibi characters and kind of seperate from the reality of the frame.

Most sports I think that would just confuse all the stuff you've been working on all season. but baseball, I'm not a sports guy, but I feel like a lot of baseball is guys standing around doing their own thing more or less independantly.

My kids are all pretty precocious and have been fairly ahead of the curve on language development, so sometimes I honestly forget that the oldest is barely in Kindergarten until suddenly we're watching Barbie Diamond Castle and it's just a tiny bit too intense.

Leveling up in the AI era by simply by not making myself reliant on least competent machines ever devised. It’s like John Henry versus the steam drill but the steam drill just sort of rattles around aimlessly and sometimes a flywheel comes off and maims the operator.

My favourite part is that whole reason for the Wisdom Tree Bible pivot was that Christian book stores would sell unlicensed games because they didn’t care about keeping Nintendo’s business. Not clear that anyone involved had any actual conviction about making Christian games.
