Looks like @windsurfai.bsky.social is down! 😣 I guess I'm gonna be a #nocode coder today! 😆
Game on! Love a low scoring test... Carn Aussies! #AusVInd #cricket
Came across competitor doing well in my space today. Instead of panicking, I'm taking it as proof there's actual demand here.
Different customers want different flavours of solutions. That's why we have multiple pizza places! ☺️🍕 #indiehacking #buildinpublic
We have so many screens now! Back in the 80s we had ONE family TV, and if I wanted to use the computer I had to commandeer that same TV as the monitor.
Now I'm literally surrounded by 5 screens as I type this.. from my tv and laptop down to the amazon speaker display!
Been playing with Sora... Interesting how the videos have that dream-like quality where things just randomly appear. One frame everything's normal, next frame: surprise objects or extra bits and bops!
Not ideal if you're aiming for 'realistic' but spot on for 'fever dream'. #ai
The user ids are different.
OpenAI down... now I have to think with my own brain like some kind of caveman. 😫
Sure! 🙋‍♂️
Russian Roulette for devs: Hitting 'Accept All Changes' on WindSurf AI's code suggestions across 6 files.
Also no recent commits + 'I'll remember what I changed' 🎲 #indiehacking #buildinpublic #webdev #coding #ai
So I ended up buying a new domain for this after all! 😆 #buildinpublic #indiehackers
Came up with a shiny new idea that actually builds on my boring-but-profitable web app, instead of another random 'game-changing' project that needs its own domain 😅
The indie dev equivalent of eating your vegetables! 😄🥕 #buildinpublic #indiehackers #excited
Got another $4 customer! Almost at $100 total revenue ($31 MRR). Celebrating every notification like I just landed a million-dollar deal 😄
Being an early-stage founder means every tiny win feels massive! 📈 #indiehackers #buildinpublic
No startup idea? Start anyway. Build something tiny that solves your own annoying problem, or just build something dumb that will make you (and others) smile.
The good ideas start flowing once you're actually building. Keyboard time beats thinking time! 💡 #buildinpublic #indiehackers
I found it interesting! I run one of those sites that you'd normally have to wade through haha..

The power of an EMD ! 👏
Yeah, there's this weird obsession with having a perfect PH launch, but for most niches it's probably not that impactful. Sure, the backlink is nice, but you can get those elsewhere... like focusing on websites where your potential customers actually spend their time!
I don't get Product Hunt. Isn't it just makers launching products to other makers (who are busy prepping their own launches)?
Has anyone actually found real users there for products that aren't targeting makers/founders? #indiehackers #buildinpublic #SaaS
Reality of indie dev life: Spent 2 hours implementing a JS library that went nowhere and scrapped it.
Sometimes u-turns are part of the process. Knowing what doesn't work is progress too! (annoying, crappy progress... but progress nonetheless) #buildinpublic #indiehackers #SaaS #coding
AI's hidden superpower: making those 'not worth the trouble' improvements totally worth it. Turned an annoying wall of wget logs into a clean progress bar with a quick chat to Claude (would've taken an hour or two myself!!) #buildinpublic #indiehackers #coding #ai #claude
Changi.. Changi is good for everything though...
Yeah, done those a few times too. Users get used to the UI (even if crappy), so can be a tricky thing to do.
Just pushed live a month-long refactor. Not exactly the kind of update that makes users go 'wow!'.. unless something breaks! 😆
But these quiet wins count too. One less hacky solution, one cleaner codebase at a time. 🎉 #buildinpublic #indiehackers #SaaS #coding #indiedev
