Oh, the cover art is definitely a photographed model / hand painted figure of some kind. We've seen this with some Dragon Quest, Metal Gear or Famitsu art before. Very nice.

Looks pretty nice imho! Orange and blue fit of course and if its environment is water, the orange could act as some kind of signaling color.

Well, I had the one that was entirely circular, without the square bits protruding. But I guess the core mechanics are the same. I had issues with the knife touching the masking tape for the entire diameter. There were sometimes gaps in the cut.

I had some issues with it back then, but want to buy another one (maybe diffferent brand) some day. Really useful tool. DSPIAE is generally very good quality imho.

I noticed that with some early PSone graphics where I thought they looked weird back then, but now kinda enjoy them (sometimes because of their weirdness). Some art just ages very gracefully.
