i obv would love a loyal trimax adaptation but i understand the constraints they’re working under. also feel like a lot of the redesigns are for merchandise purposes which isn’t really within the studios control (i could be wrong but that’s based on my knowledge of us markets)

yea they’re kinda working under some difficult circumstances (two existing materials, neither of which are the same, have to do something unique yet pay homage to both) plus having to follow the new model for anime these days, for fans who mostly are loyal to the older versions. lol
