You might want to adjust the threshold, sometimes you need to make it lower or higher depending on the fill area

Don’t pick up your pencil after dropping the color, and slide it left/right to lower or increase the threshold

You mean when I’m coloring the hair? I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking but you have to manually make an outline of the color you want and drag the color blob to the inside of it, it will only fill inside the outline
