Aston Martin 2-Litre Sports - No 11

It was the first product of the company under David Brown's ownership and is retrospectively known as the DB1. The car debuted at the 1948 London Motor Show and was based on the Aston Martin Atom prototype.

Just 15 were sold.

Last month a guy from Ontario, Canada asked me if it would be okay to draw from one of my images. Of course I said yes and this morning he sent me his result, very cool drawing. 👍🏻

My Grandmother holding a picture of her husband.

My Grandfather James, a Royal Marine Commando, died in August 1943 on the Aircraft Carrier Indomitable on route to Malta when it was attacked by a Stuka dive bomber.
