Who wants to see me eat sauerkraut using only my face? Right at the very end of this clip is when I realized the guy next to me was gonna win and so I slowed my roll. Still ate enough that I have a stomachache, though.
The colors are fabulous! Looks so delicious.
It was one of those places where people shouted back at the screen but it was usually funny and the tix were only $2 so who cares?
The seats were usually broken, upholstered in a dark fabric (presumably to hide stains), and your shoes stuck to the floor if you weren’t careful (and sometimes even if you were). The butter, however, was plentiful.
An Ode to the Roseville 4 Theatre: Broken Seats, $2 Tix, and Priceless Memories - Racket
The theater was demolished in 2008 for a Cub, but it holds a place in my heart forever.

Aren’t they fabulous??? I would absolutely rock those shoes!
Sorry but I need the Brewers to win this game for emotional reasons.
I forgot #ThingThursday last week but this week features more from my Reddy Kilowatt collection. This zipper pull was part of a 25-year anniversary gift for a worker at the Prairie Island nuclear plant. I knew his wife, who gave it to me after he passed. As always, the boots are my favorite part.
A very shiny gold zipper pull with red highlights. It is shaped like a waving Reddy Kilowatt with the NSP logo. It is wearing small safety boots with electronic bolts on them. The back of the zipper pull. “PI 25 YEARS” is engraved over and over.
I fucking hate those shitting bears so much that I refuse to buy that TP even though it is fairly decent and sold at Costco.
I went back two days later and everything was gone except the receipt. I hope the creatures of Roselawn enjoyed their snacks!
I feel like I’ve seen at least one giant freight elevator there…
Great news! We found one person for this! But we still need one more person to be a Teletubbie (the yellow one) for a party in Minneapolis on Halloween night. If we can round out this group, it is gonna be fucking epic!!! Could it be YOU?????
My Halloween plans drastically changed and we are now desperately seeking two people in the Twin Cities area to dress as Teletubbies for a party on 10/31. Costumes provided! Inquire within!!!!!
Snow still covered the ground and I had to clear a few gravestones before I found the right one. I got the donut at Super America and they definitely looked at me funny when I requested a receipt.
Looks like this picture is making the rounds again. (It was me. I visited his grave in Roseville and posted it on Reddit for his birthday nine years ago.)
A social media post by @fuckitimarobot with the caption "Some absolute legend left a donut with the receipt and 2000 grains of rice on Mitch Hedberg's grave" with a picture of a gravestone that says "HEDBERG son Mitchell mother Mary A" with a pile of rice and a donut with a receipt on it.
You should actually feel good about letting it drop in someone else's lap. Have some bourbon. You deserve it.
Still seeking two people to be Teletubbies for a ‘90s-themed Halloween party in Minneapolis! Please help me and my friends’ group costume dream come true.

Look at these photos! That could be YOU!!!

Sending all the good vibes that you get accepted!
I totally just cried about changing my Gmail password. It’s fine. Everything’s fine.
Fair isle is my favorite motif, and a variation on it like that is just sublime.
My mom is texting me about Brewers strategy. I love my parents. We’ve been a Brewers family for more than five decades.
I’m so jealous! My husband and I used to watch Dr. Sphincter on cable access when we were first dating, like 1999.
Tuned in to the TBS pregame coverage and they are so pro-Brewers. I love it. Who can hate the Brew Crew???? (Haters, shut yo mouths.)
Getting psyched up for the Brewers game in a half hour. I need this baseball distraction so badly, y'all.
