What is causing this alienation?

I'm a generation older than they & I never thought they were a symbol of Girl Power.
They looked to me like an adman's wet dream.
The girls in the bands may have had cash, but power?
As a result do girls today have power?

Until very recently my NHS dentist did everything - very efficiently - inhouse.
Now taken over by a private company it has 'specialist practitioners' shared between several practices.
Result my very competent dentist can diagnose but not treat & I must wait gaptoothed until 16/12 for the specialist

Political education in the UK is dire.
Ask how laws are made - no idea
Ask how the govt finances the country & many will say, through the profit & loss generated by the ‘economy’, either that or they don't think about it at all.
They don't know how taxation works or relate it to financing services.
