Mary laughs to herself as she wanders back off to the kitchen.

"So… you, uh, come here often, huh?"

Sebastian breaks out into a sly grin.

"Edward Amadeus, are you flirting with me?"

"What? No! I-I didn't… I mean, I hear it, but—" He's cut off by Sebastian laughing.

"You are too easy to rile up." His voice is light, and carries a fondness he's rarely heard before. "In all seriousness, I've been coming here since I was a kid. Mary was basically the first friend my mom had when she moved here from the Philippines. I'm not sure how they met, exactly. I've asked, but I get a different answer every time."

My gut is saying Eddie because we’re both pretty similar, but Georgie is so upbeat and fun! Also Sebastian is way too cool for me, otherwise I’d pick him.

Basically it was going to follow a bunch of students at this rich high school with secrets, and the narrator was going to be like a snarky gossip blogger whose identity was unknown. Eddie/Sebastian was just one of those secrets. But then I loved them too much and here we are. 😂
