At an open mic tonight, a male comic spent 4 1/2 of his 5 minutes trying to bully a woman into moving from the front row for *checks notes* laughing too loud.

It was uncomfortable and I feel horrible for not standing up for her. She stood her ground (sat her seat?) and he just left the stage.

I’ve been sick for two weeks, practically marinating in cold medicine. Had a dream I was eight months pregnant with Oscar Isaac’s triplets and only just found out. I auctioned off the naming rights—for bitcoin, apparently—and one of them ended up named Tesla.

Still a better mom than Ash Trevino.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

I had a coworker so obsessed with my fertility issues you’d think she was trying to impregnate me. She reported me to HR for skipping a baby shower (I’d had a miscarriage), and HR sided with her. I was forced to attend the next office shower and cried the whole time. Corporate America is a disease.
