Yeah, you can't even mock MAGA's misspellings because you see all the typos you've put out there!

But Marshall Law was not a typo. That was a true MAGA classic misspelling. LOL

The saddest part of this really is that it is apparently very easy in the US to find people who are so devoid of compassion and empathy that they willingly become part of this wanna be Gestapo.

I didn't realize we had so many psychopaths in this country.
Dang it! Hope, not home! Where's that edit button!?!
Congratulations! We need more like her. It gives us some much needed home.
I'll have to read this tonight, but at first glance, WOW. Another story. We really need to push these forward as we watch Trump, Miller and young white nationalists promote race superiority, after seeing the GOP rep in his office with a swastika on the wall behind him. Thanks for the link.
Omidog...Simply unbelievable.
It's just amazing how much we don't know, even when we read and try to stay knowledgeable (can you imagine the people who don't?!). I'm glad this was shared and hope others continue to share historical pieces that are especially relevant to what is happening now. Your daughter is awesome!
But they called him 'Sir'...
The "ceasefire" does not seem to be going great
I can see why! Bombs dropping on citizens? The utter destruction and tragedy, and it happened in Tulsa?! I am embarrassed that I did not know about this historically sad episode in America. I'm sharing it out now, especially after the NY Times headlines that Trump is going after POC...
I had never heard of the Tulsa Race riots. It is a must-read, especially as the Trump administration fans the flames of Nazism and racism. Let's not repeat Tulsa.
And frankly, I did not know of this unbelievable piece of history. I'm so glad you shared it. I'm horrified reading what happened in OKLAHOMA 100 years ago. Like you said, this thing HAPPENED IN AMERICA. It isn't fearmongering. It is more of a 'WTFU'.
We are living in times no one would have believed, and yet it hasn't gotten as bad as some expect it will get after next year, when ICE is given their massive budget. So, we need to be aware. The book 'What We Knew' said staying silent was the biggest factor in Nazi Germany. So share!
I'm not trying to fear monger. I'm trying to describe what could actually happen as people in this discourse have pointed out, it has before.

For anyone who doesn't believe this can happen: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsa_r...

Ideally, we have peace, but the Civil Air Patrol dropped bombs on Tulsa.

Someone needs to remind MAGA about Mitochondrial Eve.
I tried to keep them 'happy', so I ordered these. If things turn out okay when I get it set up, I'll post some pictures. Speaking of dogs, I should probably order them costumes too. LOL

Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva on Mike Johnson refusing to swear her in: "The excuses depending on the day keep changing ... the timing is the fact that I am the 218th signer to the discharge petition for the Epstein files"
I'd love to attend in Seattle, but that would be quite the drive for me! Good luck with your event. I hope there is record turnout. I hope that people who haven't marched yet will get out! I invited some friends who haven't been to any of the marches and 2 are confirmed coming. Yay! #NoKings
Nice, eh? Yes. This IS who they are. It's sad that we don't have laws, or enforcement, for people who display Nazi propaganda. Did Trump supporters know they were voting for open Nazis?
I think rally attenders need to wear cameras as well. Sadly, we've seen Fed agents lying about what triggered an event or how it unfolded (the woman who was shot recently) and no one can access the footage because it is in federal control.
You guys did fine. Dialog is good and we are doing the best we can in unbelievable circumstances. On the one hand, I took gun training. On the other hand, I just ordered Halloween inflatables for the yard. Our lives are a bit 'schizophrenic' right now.
I took gun training for my personal safety, in my home. Not to carry to rallies or protests. I agree, our fight is not with guns. Right now we fight however our personal circumstance allows. Some can march, some can launch lawsuits, some write postcards. The important thing is to stay united.
And people have a right to be scared! We shouldn't be told we need therapy just because we are concerned. When you see children zip-tied in the night, women wrestled to the ground, people disappearing, you have a right to be alarmed, concerned, and frightened. Things are happening that are bad!
I agree. It is not wrong for people who are watching what is happening to try to figure out what to do if worst-case scenario happens. Yes, there can be false flags, so we want to be diligent. But we could be so diligent we march off to the trains. It is a crazy time and we need to be able to talk.
That's true. It actually gets pretty complicated. We don't even know the half of what is happening at a governmental level, including with other governments, and then you factor in everything else, I hate to say 'it is what it is', but it is.
