Yellow stainers arent deadly but a common cause of poisoning here. Same family and near identical to cultivated agaricus until it bruises yellow and smells of chemicals. Tbh I dont know how the smell doesnt alert people, its rank 😅

Went foraging today! Picked up some parasol mushrooms from the field close by and had a huge 'prince' agaricus Augustus growing in my garden.
Making creamy wild mushroom soup, the scent of marzipan from the prince mixed with the kinda nutty scent of parasols through the kitchen is so lovely.
