Alfredo all'inizio anche a me mi sortiva l'effetto 🙄, però adesso mi sta simpatico e non mi dispiacerebbe si vedesse più spesso!

I have to say, I don't dislike win11 much (unpopular opinion) but objectively it's weird for many things.
For me, linux with kde and a terminal is way more intuitive than windows (which I only use at work).
And don't get me started on powershell which is awesome and incomprensibile at the same time!

In the end it all boils down to "does it allow me to do what I want in the easiest way possible for my use case?" if the answer is yes, use it! Experience and familiarity does a lot.

My landlord is 95 years old and does everything in excel because that's what he did in the old days of work.

I wish I had any "exotic" hardware architectures to play with! (future me will!)

And those SPARC machines, are something that you use for a specific reason, or just for the fun of it?

NetBSD sounds great, they say it's easier to port to different platforms (not that I expect doing any of that) and sometimes I've read their implementation of various functions and the code is usually very readable, which is awesome!

You've said it. For me the UNIX way of doing things (make a little script here, your printer is a file, you have a c compiler right here!, no automatic stuff in the background breaking things) feels like it should be.

I've used Linux since 2005, now I can also game on it! I don't miss Windows!
