Honestly, I'm blessed with very small hands so I never struggled with the joycons on the original switch (never held the new one). I think they're built okay for a child's hands but not for most adults

Not fangirling cause obviously you can then go back to the power glove etc but I think the wii's motion controls were a flash in the pan and understood as such. It was mobile phones making gyroscopes and accelerometres incredibly cheap, if anything, imo

I mean this is slightly ahistorical where the sixaxis and ds3 were made for the ps3 and then later the PS move. Nevermind that the original wiimotes needed an attachment for actually decent motion tracking for things like skyward sword. Then there's the eyetoy for ps2.

Further corollary - the range of shit you can work on is quite broad. Whatever awful combo of mental health problems you have, you can manage them better. You can use mobility aids, and ask for help to obtain them. You can pace with energy limiting conditions.

None of that will be good enough to give you the same access as an abled and sane person, but it will give you more than you have right now. It won't overcome discrimination and you have an absolute right to be furious about that. But it will help you deal with it to get some of what you need.
