unreal THAT IS SO COOL. In grad school my friends and I always talked about going out to NM for the hot air balloon festival but never got around to it!
ummm is this as cool as it seemed? do you have pictures from the Sky? how long were you up there.. so many questions!
but the whole point of the apollo program was to work on rocket booster technology for ICBMs.... Did his teacher ever ask what his dad did in the military?
1.) be patient getting started takes time
2.) every time in the 1st 6mo a colleague asks to get coffee do it.
3.) it’s a marathon not a sprint.
4.) you will make mistakes it’s fine
5.) there’s a lot of this we were never trained for.
I know of a lot of high powered magnets in Pittsburgh…. But I didn’t know I could use them to move furniture !!
Lawrenceville. 46th Street. Caller says that his neighbors have a high powered magnet and are using it and other dark arts to move his furniture. Happy Halloween season.
Pretty cool. With help from some friends modified a 3D printer to make a fraction collector. It cost $200$ instead of 1500$ works perfectly.

NMRSky! Is there any way to indicate multiple peak assignments for a single spin system (I.e., exchange where two peaks for one amide are visible) in a BMRB deposition? @nmr900.bsky.social

Thanks!
anyone else seeing insane tarrif charges? 24% more expensive?!?!
talk about the most expensive GMO-pork chop!
In addition the "in-cell" spectra look to clean to truely be in-cell. Now i have never done RNA in-cells but As a Pielak PHD and Gronenborn Postdoc who did in-cell NMR in each lab I can comment that these spectra are very suspect to me.
look at these supernatant controls...they saw leakage in their post and just scrolled down in intensity to try to flatten it out. I have NEVER seen an NMR spectrum without resonances look that much like a flat line and then on top if you look at where the deviations from flat correlate with peaks
Me: Ugh i shouldn't have agreed to review this manuscript it does not match the abstract and is going to be a lot of work when i should be writing a grant...

Also me: oooo invitation to review another manuscript that I know is going to be interesting...✅

*sigh* at least this 2nd one will be easy
this is why I'm glad I don't watch/read the local news... as someone whose lab works a bit on dengue i probably should know its in SD lol
haha Sorry! tbf i checked to see if you had made it already!

Oh man. And during talks. I had a hype man in the audience for me during my last talk and he left before I got to thank him.
