Ok. So you were actually pals with Douglas Adams? That's even more impressive than directing James Garner. 😉 There was a period in my life where all I could do for a few months was read his books. It was the only thing my brain would accept. Anyway agree with your TARDIS conclusions as well.

I do all but the essential oils daily [any strong scent will trigger migraines for me] and for most of my life. It definitely helps a little with pain and being a bit more functional mentally and physically. Sad that it doesn't do more though. 🤕

Was that when he was upset briefly about a coach or something? Still seemed so minor given what has got to be a frustrating situation for him. Also if I remember correctly he at least had the 1km until recently and now HL dominates that as well. 😩 Not watching live atm so have no idea for this year.

vs feminine as there is la joie, etc. But a lot of feminine words are negative like la douleur, la maladie, la peine, et la souffrance, etc. 😉

But this still does not make sense using the word class as determining gender. In any list of English words used in French the majority are masculine. Very few are feminine, even un post, when la poste existed already. I think it is somewhat random. Was also just being grumpy about the masculine ⬇️

Yes, but German is much different to French. Would be nice to have a neutral gender and not always default to masculine. 😩

Perhaps to some, but not to me. 😂 In French it would be translated as 'un cours de désastre' or something to that effect. Anyway, languages are strange.

😬 in a hospital? 😱 In France baguettes are treated like that. Just thrown around, outside, inside, on the table. No wrapping, just waving them about and leaving miettes everywhere. So clearly gluten allergies, intolérance, etc. just do not exist here. Except that they do, along with pathogens. 😒

Well of course anything negative in French is feminine. But usually words that are borrowed from other languages default to masculine as it is the dominant gender in the language. 🤔 Oh and clearly I'm not bitter at all at the moment. 😩

I have no idea who he is or what all of this is about but I did suddenly see a lot of posts on the subject. For me a definite red flag though is any association with Blackwater or similar orgs. Not even sure if it's true, but read that as well. 😩

For years, there's been a massive over-emphasis on food miles, and a massive under-emphasis on food type.
By far and away the best dietary decision you can make, for environmental, humanitarian and public health purposes, is to cut out animal products.

7. No, Europe did not become “great” through meat-eating. Thoughout the entire early modern and modern periods until the late 19th Century, the vast majority here ate very little meat. Only imports of beef and lamb from the colonies, enabled by genocide, expulsion and land clearing, changed that.
