bro all i do all day is hand-make shit, why do i have to prove this all of a sudden? it's always the people making the most mid-bullshit who are producing making-of stuff bcuz their work isn't that interesting, but proving you put effort into it can give you a participation trophy of engagement

my new doomer observation of trends on social media: people like seeing making-of content of hand made things to prove that it isnt ai. i half get it, some of these videos are v engrossing. but when i get to the final product at the end im like "huh this sucks." almost as boring as ai art lol

i mostly hate boss fights too, but the relief/serotonin of beating it and knowing you dont have to deal with it again is a nice feeling lmao. i will say silksong feels particularly punishing with the bosses, where im more frustrated then enjoying it most of the time.
