What gets me most about this chapter is how detached and apathetic Asa looks. She's remembering her traumatic past but she talks about it like she's just a neutral third party retelling a story. #csm217

Do you guys think anyone is going to die in the Yoru vs Pochita fight? The only person who doesn't still have shit to do and isn't comic relief is Pochita and he's necessary for Denji to keep living.

That was a pretty good chapter, nothing much story-wise but the pacing was good and the action was great. It's a nice leadup to what is probably a huge reveal. 7.5/10

You say this like Pochita was only instinctively reacting to an attack like he does against all those civilians but they both charged at the same time and then we see that they both hit each other at the same time. All the framing suggests this happens concurrently.

now we don't know how Pochita feels about Yoru specifically cause he's a giant question mark of a character but we know how Yoru feels about Pochita (or chainsaw man in general)

Pochita ripping people apart was literally him trying to hug people and he kills people for Kobeni and Denji. Violence being connected to intimacy is not a new thing.

I think that's more about Pochita and Yoru's guts getting mixed up, they "becoming one" through ripping each other apart so then their whatever realms also become the same bsky.app/profile/aleg...

I think she's deliberately holding back here to make the fight better, that's why she didn't dodge when she was fast enough to get three separate punches in or use her finger gun. Logically it doesn't make sense for them to be equal, a far weaker version of Yoru two-shot Pochita.
