Microsoft won’t even let me download windows 11 despite my hardware being sufficient because my motherboard doesn’t have some random security feature.

The thing is these microbes are in danger from poorly regulated off-shore drilling operations and they already manage massive methane pockets.

This isn't "oh these microbes can help us" this is "we need to protect these microbes because the climate will get drastically worse without them"

I did that one time and then I would only buy complete series at the used book store.

This led to me reading a lot of shitty fiction because only the most terrible trash had a complete series available at the used book store.

Changing tax structure wouldn’t even help this because most of their wealth is in the stock market, which are unrealized gains and untaxable. They then borrow against those gains, borrowing also isn’t taxed, use that to fund their lifestyle, and borrow more to pay off the previous loans.

I didn’t write the article, man. I just read it, and the article is using AI as the terminology which is what was setting off this comment section. But fine, it’s machine learning.

I don‘t care about AI, I’m just pedantic about reading articles before getting mad about them.

generative AI is what returns wrong data. AI that is specifically trained to do one function has been used in many industries for decades and can be tested more rigorously.

Is it worth the valuation? Probably not, but very little is.

I know AI is the devil right now, but this isn't generative AI he's using, this is extremely specific AI that's basically an operating system for hosts to keep tabs on their properties.

I thought the easel clip was part of it for a distressingly long time. But I grew up with surrealist art so I was just like, “I wonder what the grill in the sky is supposed to reference? Is this saying simple pleasures are increasingly out of reach?”

oh man, that sucks. My first migraine medication was a mild anti-depressant and when I went off it to change to a different one and I thought I was legit going crazy until my therapist at the time was like "hey, do you think the change in meds could be related?"
