For the oceans, Skylight is used by 300+ organizations in ~70 countries. Together with IUCN, we’re preparing no-cost access to support Marine Protected Areas as the High Seas (BBNJ) treaty rolls out.

↳ The top five cited papers are from the AI field: Attention Is All You Need, LMs Are Few-Shot Learners, BERT, Chain-of-Thought, & RLHF.

How we’re doing it: Asta uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), first retrieving papers then writing an answer that cites them. 🔎 We log those citations and publish the stats.
So far, we've logged 113,200+ queries in ~7 months, recording 4.95M+ citations across 2M+ papers.
