Yup, the argument presupposes that people are aiming to appeal to bigotry, not defeat it. Which, personally, I think is an entirely nonsensical approach to the issue - Bigotry has never gone "Oh okay I see you're trying to throw us a bone here, I guess we can be reasonable about this".

Some suggestions for him to try if he wants to get into Heaven:
Donate all his money to charity.
Give a full confession of all his sins to the Pope on live TV.
Stop being a shit filled sack of evil.
Going old testament and sacrificing some sons is also an option.

I checked their eligibility and they accept requests from activist groups and grassroots organisations in both preventing and dealing with cyber attacks and privacy violations. Which seems to be the exact criteria you guys fit, so they may be worth contacting for resources etc.

Hi, UK here. We've been dealing with the Stingrays at protests for a while and have developed a set of countermeasures the average person can follow. See page 5 for Stingrays, but a lot will be useful as long as you remember it's using UK law etc, not US.

I did some googling because...wow...and I don't *think* it's a direct quote, but rather a collection of all the different insane things he's said combined into a signal "Unified Theory of Bullshit".
Open to being proven wrong, but all I'm getting from google is similar things he's said.

Something I found very helpful with Shakespeare was buying printed versions which have the original text but also a series of context notes and translations of out of use words/phrases to more modern equivalents numbered in the margins and at the bottom of the page.
It made it much more enjoyable.

Unfortunately for the world, JD's mother was too busy OD'ing in front of her kid on drugs she stole from her patients while working as a Nurse to teach him basic decency and rather than overcome this by working on himself later in life, he's now just making his trash family trauma our problem.

To me the massive popularity of "seeing the good guys do something" just show that most of the world is desperately hoping for someone good to step up and save them from a very real evil. When, ironically, every superhero has a point where they only succeed because normal people stand up and help.

I often think the reason superhero stories are so popular is because they basically follow the formula of taking a real world evil like Nazis or Billionaires, transforming it into a single character like the Red Skull or Lex Luthor and then, the bit everyone loves, actually doing something about it.

I would consider "Forced to" to be perfectly reasonable language to use considering they had several months to volunteer an apology and chose not to until faced with public pressure, legal action and increasing scrutiny of their behaviour.

I do try and give people's motives the benefit of the doubt, but I really don't see what this can be except spite or stupidity. And given how pointed and effective the rest of his campaigning has been, I don't think it's stupidity.

(So the first half of your journey to the protest, and the second half of your journey back, you essentially have no phone, which is a risk in itself and why a lot of people prefer to swap them out)

(3) Another option is to just leave your main phone at home when you go protesting. This is best if you're arrested, since then they don't have it. But your protest burner CANNOT be active in your home area - you have to turn it off and bag it on the way back or it can be tracked.

(2) even when you think they're turned off, and some of those bags aren't 100%. It's important to turn it off AND use the bag. Take the battery out entirely if you can. Also be careful to do this well before reaching the protest area - you want a good physical gap between the protest and your phone.

The burner is exclusively so you can still communicate and document (because we judged not being able to do that is higher risk than the data mining). When it comes to protecting your phone, just make sure it can't connect.
Phones are sneaky now - they often 'standby' and can still be hacked

(2) When you're halfway home, swap back. Your protest burner should only have an emergency contact and a lawyer saved in it. This isn't perfect as a solution by any means, but we've tried to minimise risks without losing access to the ability to document and communicate.

I've asked my protest group chat for someone willing to talk about it or links and I'll get back to you with details.
The basics are: You need a protest burner, pay as you go sims and a signal block bag. Halfway to the protest, your phone turns off and goes in the bag, protest burner comes out.

I want to believe there's some nugget of a win in this but honestly I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop on even the idea that "At least the active genocide has stopped".
My guess is either a displacement scheme or any excuse to restart it in earnest with his approval.
