can't argue with that. The appeal to me comes from the story. Gameplay is very hit or miss depending on how I feel that day

My point is that it is a huge challenge to get to that point without the double jump. Players are still highly encouraged to get the double jump.

Yes but clearly the double jump isn't optional the same way a random tool or crest is optional

The people who are able to make it to the endgame without it are probably sweats who are just very skilled

I think people are justified in getting frustrated by locking a movement tech behind all that

Ok bilehaven was pissing me off so I downed a bottle of iced coffee, and now i'm done with the bilehaven gauntlet and the high halls gauntlet (with shakra) lol
