The Election Assistance Commission has been asked to amend the federal voter registration form to require unnecessary documentation of citizenship when registering to vote.

21 million eligible voters do not readily have access to any proof of citizenship. This is voter suppression.

Meriwether County has unlawfully erased Black political power on its Board of Commissioners through racial redistricting. The five-member board, which is tasked with development and administration of critical infrastructure and services, is currently all white.

We're suing the Meriwether County Board of Elections and Registration over their redistricting plan that dilutes the voting strength of Black voters in violation of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. The new map gives the white voting age population an unbeatable majority of more than 65%.
