it can be difficult to find solid info on many things because of all the agendas flying around. old growth takes up a lot of sunlight from the forest floor causing rot and preventing new growth. this can create loamy earth and contribute to landslides or healthy trees falling. it is sad but needed
trees create around 20% of the oxygen on earth while marine life creates around 50%. old growth needs to be thinned in order to maintain the health of the forests and prevent certain natural disasters. pollution is heating the oceans obviously and people need to start removing it from the atmosphere
