2001: Angelina Jolie in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

This was the year I first fell in love with movies and started going to the cinema regularly.

Angie as Lara was a key part of that. This casting was such a big deal at the time it’s hard to convey to anyone who wasn’t there just how big it/she was.

I love how dynamic and colourful Ellen von Unwerth’s photography is. It’s so distinct, and best of all the women involved always look like they’re having a blast.
