Cancer affects everyone, but it doesn't affect everyone equally. That's why we advocate to improve affordable access to care & increased funding through the Indian Health Service & federal programs like the Initiative for Improving Native American Cancer Outcomes. #IndigenousPeoplesDay (2/3)

On #IndigenousPeoplesDay, we honor the histories, cultures & contributions of Indigenous peoples. Despite significant challenges throughout history, American Indian & Alaska Native tribal gov'ts have survived, & communities continue to work toward preserving their heritage & advancing equity. (1/3)

We're celebrating an incredible milestone: the #MCEDAct is now the most-supported bill in Congress!

If passed, it could help #EarlyDetection tests reach more people who need them.

With 386 cosponsors across the House and Senate, there's overwhelming bipartisan support to pass this bill.

Everyone knows someone who has been impacted by cancer, or they have been impacted themselves.

Matt from @acscan.bsky.social has a good idea: Put our foot on the gas and fund research and care for those battling cancer.

Pleased to see POTUS' commitment to pediatric #CancerResearch. Federal investment is especially crucial to progress in #ChildhoodCancer.

This increased funding for childhood cancer data intiatives is an example of the type of critical research that can be done with increased funding for NIH.
HHS Doubles AI-Backed Childhood Cancer Research Funding
Following an Executive Order by President Trump, HHS will increase funding of data-centered pediatric cancer research.

Millions can afford health insurance thanks to health care #TaxCredits. But these are set to expire at the end of 2025—unless Congress votes to renew them.

Without the health care tax credits, working families & patients could face crushing hikes in costs. Urge Congress to extend them now ⬇️
Congress: Renew the health care tax credits now!

Cancer research is critical to ensure more people can prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. Scientific advancements are necessary to develop new treatments and improve outcomes.

That’s why we continue to advocate for increased federal funding for cancer research. #WorldCancerResearchDay

Hundreds of cancer advocates gathered together last week during #CancerLobbyDay to send a powerful message to Congress: #CancerResearch funding is non-negotiable.

Watch this recap video and send a message to Congress urging them to pass a spending bill that increases funding to #ProtectCancerCures.

Great morning rallying with cancer advocates from Alabama and across the nation in support of the Nancy Gardner Sewell MCED Act! What a befitting tribute to my late mother to spend her birthday fighting for greater access to cancer screenings.

Special thanks to the @acscan.bsky.social volunteers!

Decades of public health research are being undermined by pseudo-science and handouts to the ultra-rich.

I was proud to join @acscan.bsky.social to tell my cancer story and hear the stories of others. We need every survivor and every family to raise their voice to protect cancer research.
