This is what we’re up against: the strategic erasure of Black voters and the deliberate dismantling of their collective power. It’s unethical, it’s cowardly, and it’s proof of just how powerful our voices are when we vote.

Oral arguments were heard Wednesday at the Supreme Court in Louisiana v. Callais, seeking to limit the voting power of Black voters in Louisiana and to dismantle one of the few remaining provisions of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Section 2, protecting against racial discrimination in voting.

✨ Project Return: Justice Reform Open-Mic Night was a powerful evening of truth, resilience, and art.

We heard the voices of those directly impacted by incarceration, stories of return, resistance, and hope. A big thank you to every artist and attendee who celebrated community and reentry.
We’ll discuss how to protect the right to vote for those impacted by the criminal legal system, reduce incarceration for technical violations, and ensure every Delawarean’s voice is heard at the ballot box.

Across the U.S., the ACLU is tracking more than 615 bills targeting LGBTQ+ people and many of these bills also threaten the rights of people with intersex traits.

Everyone in every body deserves the right to live openly and authentically, free from discrimination or political attacks.
Every ominous headline takes a toll. Every funding cut deepens the fear. But let’s be clear: LGBTQIA+ people deserve safety, dignity, and joy in Delaware and beyond.

Together, we refuse to let hate define the future.
✨ Birthing people in Delaware and across the country deserve uninterrupted access to reproductive healthcare including abortion. These rights should already be guaranteed, but we’re still fighting to protect them. Reproductive freedom isn’t up for debate, it’s a fundamental right.

No matter who you are—citizen, immigrant, visitor—the Constitution protects you. But right now, those rights are under attack.

We must remember: protecting the rights of immigrants means protecting constitutional rights for us all.

🛡️ SB 80 – Anti-SLAPP Protections: Shields activists, students, journalists, and everyday people from lawsuits designed to silence dissent, strengthening First Amendment protections in Delaware.

At a time when free expression is under attack nationwide, Delaware is leading the way.

Governor Meyer just signed two powerful laws that protect our rights to learn and dissent:

🔥 HB 119 – The Freedom to Read Act: Stops book bans and protects students’ and communities’ access to diverse stories—no more censorship based on politics, religion, or ideology.

The Trump administration is threatening to pull federal funding from programs that mention transgender people. We stand with students, educators, and programs that teach the facts, are inclusive of all identities, protect medically accurate education, and prioritize sexual health.
