We lost a member of our family suddenly this week to kidney disease. Pippin was an incredibly loving boy who did great with my children. In honor of his memory I'll be donating to the Idaho Humane Society which has accepted more than 2,000 cats so far this year and is running out of food.
Little girl holding an incredibly chill cat
I also love Superior St. and constantly question why there's still a casino downtown.
I haven’t been to Duluth in a decade and it’s awesome but boy does it suck having a highway go right between the city and the lakeSide
Wouldn't want easy access between your downtown and your main tourism hub
But when did they get rid of the "Red" in "Red Star"? Drunk uncles need to know.
@governorwalz.mn.gov tried to take away paid leave from state employees 🤷🏽

Seems like he's a different boss than he is campaigner
Investments in early learning and affordable child care.

Largest investment in public schools in state history.

Free school meals.

Nation-leading Child Tax Credit.

Paid leave.

Our mission from day one has been clear. Today we rank as a top state for children.
You can also think about the time you spent earning the money to afford that car/parking space/fuel/insurance
My solve for this in my personal carless life and conversations about multimodal “Time Tax” is that when you leave your house in a car you don’t start your next thing until you park. Multimodal you start your next thing the second you leave the house.
One thing I wish we would do far, far more in our ped/bike/transit writing and advocacy is acknowledge the time tax those modes of transport often incur, and what it means for people to absorb that tax. When we don't, I think it makes us a bit dishonest and weakens our advocacy!
Nothing could possibly be gained by attending a lot of the federal government briefings right now
In the "best case" aBRT scenario that also means another worthy corridor won't get upgrades for another 5-10 years
The only things that are close are @mnufc.com losing to Austin FC in the US Open cup this year and @mnaurorafc.bsky.social's loss in the finals of its inaugural season
The endings of the last two Lynx seasons have hurt more than the collective failures of all of my other favorite teams over the past decade
And despite all of this @governorwalz.mn.gov fought hard to keep state employees inflation adjustments under 2%
Insurance rates up $2000.

Food benefits cut off.

Farmers unable to sell their crops.

Skyrocketing national debt.

$40 billion to Argentina.

America First!
The damage of tariffs and antagonizing Canada are entirely preventable
Also it's time the A line had bus lanes
Someday my Hennepin - Larpenteur BRT will come
Translates to, "to become contorted"
The Palestinian watermelon combined with defending Christopher Columbus is an amazing combo
Self-fulfilling prophecy when he won't return to DC to negotiate
I would not exist if not for him
Kind of seems like door holding behavior is what it is and it's kind of on Metro Transit to adjust the physical infrastructure to meet reality
Yeah I think it's a perception issue or more likely just an excuse to stop the project
The issue is probably always aesthetics though, right?
Go to one Lynx or Timberwolves game and their sales reps will blow your phone up
