I'm sorry to say, the evil we're seeing has a point far beyond any midterm. Who, I ask, are the international interests who'd want the neo-confederate right to turn America into this?

The endgame's not to have people freak out over empty grocery shelves because farms don't have workers. Americans are fine with hard work. It's hard work without trajectory, without hopes and dreams they don't want.

Neo-confederates have all the ideas about who'll do that work.

The talking points about "illegal" labor and "Americans don't want to work" are obscuring a serious move towards institutionalized human trafficking and slavery.

That's why they're taking black history out of schoolbooks and museums.

This makes watching some of the EU countries pull punches all the more frustrating. This is a fight that can be won, and russia can be defeated and deterred - with a bit of guts.

The fight is neither hopeless nor has a countdown to victory started. Just, willpower would work wonders.

But guess how I feel, rooting for and living on the inspiration of people seriously fight for their lives and values as they must, and then watching us letting corrupt villains and oligarchs shred our basic functions and there's marches once a month.

Our microcosms are so, because of the macro.

This is easy mode compared to some struggles I'm following. What's wrong in America, we're letting villains openly do while we watch gossip about it.

I oscillate between Ukrainian and US news because I need to see what serious, competent people do versus problems I feel I slightly own.

I now weigh in my mind my supply of antibiotics versus office droids reading hallucinated AI summaries of my resume to me over the phone.

What feels most sobering is how *not* singled out I feel in this. These are overlapping, systemic issues. And I could tell the doctors and staff got screwed too.
