And i think that's what he's trying to say. He doesnt want AI to DO the work, he wants AI to HELP with the work. And people need to notice it's a vast difference.

Using AI "to cut time and costs" is what animation studios have been doing for ages to help with creating tween frames.

I think a lot of people are taking the post the wrong way, unfortunately.

Its so deeply engrained into our brains at this point that Using AI = GenAI = Bad

GenAI = Bad, yes
But Using AI = GenAI? No, not quite.

Industries have been using assistive algorithms and programs for ages now.

Two more versions.

This time, instead of manually picking the grey colors, I color-dropped the full color from her reference and put it on a grey-only layer.

Then i adjusted each one to their nearest set value.

These look a bit similar, but 20 allows dark colors to be a bit darker than in 25.

Playing with brushes and styles, trying to figure out the style (and workflow) I wanna stick with for RECODE.

This is using my planned "only 3 greys (25, 50, 75)" method but her sweater feels too dark :/ Hmm

20-40-60-80 got the tones actually looks a lot better. Havent decided on tone shape yet, though (20-80 is 'Diamond'; 25-75 is 'Line')

RECODE Ch1 was done with 'Line', but Ill have to play with it a bit to find one i like most.

A great thing about the Monthly/Annual plan is I get to download 30 premium screentone materials for free each month. And with me getting closer to beginning production on RECODE Chapter 2, those will be very handy both in the near future, and in the long run of the project!

I've been using EX V1 of CSP since 2018. Today, I figured I might as well as get the monthly subscription to bump up to v4. As much as I hate subscriptions for work apps (staring at Adobe), $12/month for EX V4 is not bad

One day I'll be able to afford the permanent license upgrade for V1>V4 ($200+)

When my mom heard there was going to be a small child here overnight, she offered to stay in town anyways and have me stay at our usual arrangement.

Its a lose lose either way. Either im stressed out and shes worrying about me, or she's stressed out and im worrying about her

Its going to be a stressful weekend, i can tell.

I usually stay with my mom and her boyfriend when i work in town, but theyve been having a rough time so i was gonna stay at my dads this weekend

Except apparently my sister and her fiance are going to have his 5yo son over??? I have to be up at 7am
